This collection is probably my oldest. I remember winning various helmets at county fairs when I was young. I think this is what sparked my interest in baseball (and later football) helmets. Over the years I’ve picked up many at garage sales. I don’t go out of my way to find or buy these helmets because I don’t have a lot of space to store or display them.
